


Alexis Panaretos is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter and versatile live performer, known for her captivating voice, emotive delivery, and ability to connect effortlessly with audiences across genres and settings. Immersed in music from a young age, Alexis’ career spans over three decades. Her early years included performing in prestigious national choirs, gracing events such as the Sydney Olympic Games ceremonies and the cherished Australian tradition of Carols by Candlelight. Her classical training across various musical styles, particularly in opera, established a solid foundation for her diverse musical career. In the mid-2000s, Alexis rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the rock band Beautality, captivating audiences at renowned Sydney venues. Her venture into musical theatre further showcased her versatility, with standout roles including the Evil Stepmother in Maitland Musical Society’s "Cinderella" and Yum-Yum in "The Mikado". Most recently, she starred in Bankstown Theatre Company’s production of "They’re Playing Our Song", May 2025, and “Mamma Mia!”, Oct 2025. Alexis’ song writing talents came to the forefront in 2012 with the release of her single, “Don’t Hold Back”, followed by her EP "Lost Control" in 2013, featuring five original pop-dance tracks. Her ability to weave personal narratives into her music has endeared her to many, and she continues to develop new original material alongside a busy live performance schedule. In 2023, Alexis had the privilege of performing at a significant event for the Kytherian Association of Australia at the Australian National Maritime Museum, marking the unveiling of the Kytherian panel on Australia’s National Monument to Migration. Her stirring rendition of Paragon Café by Australian country-folk legend Ted Egan paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Kytherian families across the country, making the performance both culturally and personally meaningful. Alexis was later honoured to record Paragon Café, preserving its rich storytelling and celebrating a song deeply connected to Australia’s migrant history. She has since continued her association with the Kytherian community, most recently performing at the Annual Kytherian Debutant Ball in May 2025. Currently, Alexis Panaretos is making waves in the vibrant music scene across Sydney and the Illawarra regions, performing as a solo artist, in intimate duo configurations, and as a core member of high-energy dance-pop cover band SuperSonic. In her acoustic duo with guitarist, Alexis showcases her emotive vocal delivery through heartfelt, stripped-back renditions of popular songs, perfectly suited to intimate venues and relaxed settings. She also performs in an upbeat duo with saxophonist, bringing a polished, contemporary energy ideal for cocktail events, functions, and lively crowds. As a member of the high-energy dance-pop cover band SuperSonic, Alexis commands larger stages with confidence, effortlessly engaging audiences with well-loved hits from the 90s-00s that keep dance floors full. Whether in a cozy pub, a stylish event space, or a bustling nightclub, Alexis continues to captivate listeners with her versatility, professionalism, and passion for live performance.
